Data Stick - Ron Cobb’s concept in 3D

Ron Cobb designed this device for early original script for Alien (1979). It was meant to be used by crew members primary as a recording video device. It was ultimately dropped from later script.

I decided to adapt his beautiful design in 3D. Only reference i had was that sketch. 
I gave myself freedom to decide colors, some markings and the design of front part where laser scanner and cameras are.
